BIO

Dr. Valdes, a devoted physicist, has made significant contributions, holding a joint Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Texas at San Antonio and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Originating from Mexico City, Dr. Valdes’s enthusiasm for scientific exploration ignited during their Electronics and Communications Engineering bachelor’s. This passion led to a pivotal role in the Nobel Prize-winning observation of gravitational waves, earning co-recognition for the Special Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics.
